Here’s what you want to know about our

YOUNG DISCIPLES

We welcome children of all ages in our worship service. As you enter the sanctuary, feel free to grab a worship kit from the rack just outside the doors of the sanctuary to keep them occupied.

For infants and toddlers, we offer a loving and safe childcare during our service.  This is available from 9:45 a.m. - 11:00 am.  Our nursery is located on the lower level if you would like to drop your child off.

Several times a year our young disciples participate in worship. From waving palm branches for the Palm Sunday processional to waving steamers for Pentecost, we get our children involved in worship.

Early in the service, children are invited to join Laura Sparks at the chancel steps for Time For Young Disciples — an opportunity to relate some aspect of the scripture or worship in a way that children and all present can understand.

After the Time For Young Disciples, children ages K-5 may follow the B.L.A.S.T teacher downstairs.  B.L.A.S.T. stands for BELIEVE. LEARN. AND. SEEK. TRUTH.  This is a time for our Young Disciples to learn and grow their faith through hands on lessons.  The B.L.A.S.T. teacher will bring all the children back upstairs during the last hymn of service.

Fellowship

Once a month, our Young Disciples gather together for a fellowship event.  This could be lunch after service, gem mining, trampoline park, and so much more.  This is a wonderful opportunity to get together and have fun as a church family.

Activities

VBS

During the summer with join up with the children and families at Beth Eden Lutheran Church for a joint VBS.  This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, play games, and learn and grow in our faith together.

Missions

We believe that no hands are too small to serve God.  During the year we offer opportunities for our Young Disciples and their family to participate in mission projects.
