PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN’S MINISTRY

We're here to foster growth in faith through
strong and caring relationships.

We have four Presbyterian Womens’ groups: three circle groups and Creative Hands. Some of our projects include: sponsoring college students with greeting and gift cards, preparing baptismal samplers, supporting The Corner Table, providing receptions for bereavement services, donating school supplies, assisting with Sunday Community Supper, writing letters to service men and women, supporting The Salvation Army with meals, and many other projects.

We also gather together to enjoy fellowship though our The Lunch Bunch.  We also learn and grow together through Bible studies, book clubs, and retreats.

Our Groups

  • Lydia’s Circle | 1st Tuesdays at 2 p.m. in the church parlor or a member’s home.

  • Circle 4 | 1st Mondays at 2:00 p.m. in the church parlor.

  • Circle 5 | 2nd Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. at local restaurants, homes or church.

  • Creative Hands | creates, repairs and maintains the chrismons and meets Mondays at 10 a.m. in the Dorcas Wooten Creative Hands Room.

  • The Lunch Bunch Ladies Lunch Group | meet 11 times a year in local restaurants. 

  • FPC Book Club | meets 4th Tuesday at 10 a.m. in church parlor.

  • Special Events | Candy Making Days for The Corner Table Candy Tin Fundraiser.

  • Celebration of Life Reception Helpers | 55 different women of the church assist with receptions for memorial services.
